Helping surrendered pugs grow healthy, strong, and feel loved in their new forever homes since 1978.
Bring home a new family member or volunteer to help pugs in need.
Mid Michigan Pug Club & Rescue exists to help pugs
We are not here to pass judgment on those who relinquish an animal. We are here to find your pug a loving forever home. One of the reasons MMPC exists is to rescue pugs from unwarranted euthanizations. We do not euthanize pugs unless they have no quality of life due to serious illness or injury.

Meet Alex, a handsome 10-month-old pup who’s ready to steal your heart (and maybe a few socks! ). This playful, affectionate boy loves going for walks, playing with other dogs, and keeping his humans in sight at all times.
Great with other dogs
Loves walks & playtime
Working on crate & potty training
Affectionate & loyal
Alex would love a home with doggy playmates, and a family who adores him! A fenced yard is a bonus! He hasn't been around children in his foster home, but they feel he would do fine with them. If you’re interested in adopting, submit your application today!
